Blue Sky Tennis are organising a set of competitions for Adults and Juniors targeting players around the Bath, Bristol and Wilts area who are just getting started with competitions, want more opportunity to play or find others to play with socially.
“The idea is to grow the game by staging a set of competitions for different audiences to have a go. Our competitions aim to remove some of the barriers people have around entering competitions such as travel, time, complicated entries, fear of losing & doubts about ability.
We are trying to push these things to the side and just promote people having a game with each other. Hopefully Players, Coaches and Clubs will support the idea and events and we will see some good number of players taking part”

The amazing success of Emma Raducanu over the summer and US open gave Tennis a fantastic opportunity to promote the sport for all the right reasons and particularly in the Women’s game where GB has gone 44 years without a slam win. So Bluesky with the support of Boniti interiors, held a series of Free Tennis taster days to promote tennis and it’s benefits to new players. We saw a total of 55 players aged between 5-13yrs, with everyone getting stuck into the games and challenges including the parents!
